I guess the holidays are just around the corner isn't it? Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to go out and buy some Christmas gifts for my friends because I'm too occupied with school stuff. Well, let's start an early Christmas vacation with something festive. The Saturdays recently guested on Fearne Cotton's Radio 1 Live Lounge (December 17) and they performed 2 songs, an acoustic version of their latest single 'Ego' and a cover of 'Winter Wonderland'.
The cover, which you can hear below is pretty good. Although I would've wanted another song for them to sing since 'Winter Wonderland' isn't that my favourite at all.
And I'm quite suggesting they should've released a Christmas EP or some sort. Singing some holiday songs should be amazing for the girls but I guess its too late right? Maybe next year...

Since the Sugababes aren't doing much good in the charts since new member, Jade Ewen joined the trio their management decided to release a christmas cover as a single. Unsurprisingly, they chose 'Santa Baby' to be released on December 21st.
To be completely honest, I'm expecting they'd turn up things this time. Santa Baby has been covered enormously by different artists from Kylie Minogue to Taylor Swift most of them are ladies and each delivered with enough sensuality to make the song as sexy as possible. Well, obviously their isn't any difference from other versions of the song in this one.
As I expected, Jade's voice overflowed the 2 girls' voice. Although they sound perfectly in their harmony. This cover is actually a decent one. Not that special but good for a cover to be released as a single. I wonder how many people will buy this? I'm sure we're all tired of hearing the same song covered by so many artists right? Especially when its a Christmas song. Too bad.
